Explore The Human Gap

Helping organisations see, name and close the gap between what they planned and what people actually experience.

The Unseen and Unsaid

Say what most won’t.
See what most don’t.

An honest, workshop style session about the gap between what gets presented and what people actually think. Five themes, one room.

Hosted together by Lisa Woodall and Simon Payne

What it is

Method and motivation, in one room.

Two old colleagues, each with a book, kept noticing the same frustrations from two different doors. Lisa brings the lenses, the sage’s way of focusing on the right things and asking better questions. Simon brings the punk principle, the courage to name what is wrong out loud. Method and motivation. It is what makes transformation more human, more honest, and more likely to stick.

This is not a presentation. After a couple of minutes on where it came from, it moves straight into conversation. Five themes, one at a time, and you do not leave without something to do.

The five themes

Each seen two ways.

We take them one at a time. One voice focuses on the right question. The other has the courage to say the hard thing. The sage and the rebel, on every theme.

01

The Corporate Theatre

People don’t say what they’re thinking.

Sage

The real conversation happens by the coffee machine, not in the deck.

Rebel

Silence is a delayed cost, and someone has to name it.

02

The Missing Human

Organisations forget the human.

Sage

Change lands in the middle of someone’s already busy life.

Rebel

A person is far more than the box they fit in.

03

Why Life Stories Matter

Our lived experiences shape how we work and lead.

Sage

How someone thinks tells you more than what their title says.

Rebel

The work self performs. The real self builds trust.

04

The Illusion Trap

Everything is green until it isn’t.

Sage

Green on the dashboard is not the same as healthy.

Rebel

Reality always catches up, so pop the balloon early.

05

Rebel? Sage? Or?

The answer isn’t choosing between insight and challenge. It’s combining them.

Sage

The strongest case reads the room and brings the facts.

Rebel

Say the unsaid, but choose your moment.

What a session includes

You leave with something to use.

The conversation

An honest conversation about the things we don’t see and don’t say.

A cheat sheet

A practical cheat sheet you can use straight away.

A 30 minute one to one

Time afterwards to talk through your own challenge.

Places are kept deliberately small, so it stays practical and interactive.

Reactions from the room

What people took away.

To be bluntly honest, I need to get my mojo back, and this was a really good way to get me acting more in line with the score I got.
E.S., central government programme
A really powerful message on the feel of change and the damage of ignoring it. I’ll make more effort to understand that part.
C.B., central government programme

Started the conversation doesn’t mean it has to stop here.

Stickiness Index Pulse

How sticky is your transformation, right now?

The Stickiness Index is a single read of how well belief, energy and coherence are holding across all five lenses at once: Reflect, Reimagine, Reframe, Rewire, Reconnect.

This is the Stickiness Index Pulse — a quick guide based on a small subset of questions. It gives you an early, indicative read. It is not the full Stickiness Index, which forms part of the complete Diagnostic where Stickiness is read alongside themes, patterns and archetypes.

Ten quick reads, two per lens. No right answers, nothing captured. Just a mirror held up to the transformation as it looks from where you sit.

A pulse, not the full picture. It’s a guide and can shift when the full Index is taken across all 84 questions. Deliberately not a precision instrument — it points to where to look, not to a verdict.
Which Transformation Archetype Are You?
The Five Lenses of Transformation™

Which transformation archetype are you?

Every transformation takes on a personality — a recognisable way of moving, deciding, and quietly straining. It shows in how the five lenses sit together: Reflect, Reimagine, Reframe, Rewire, Reconnect.

Seven quick reads. No right answers, nothing captured. Just a mirror held up to the transformation as it looks from where you sit.

A light read, not the full picture. The complete Diagnostic runs to 84 questions across the five lenses — this is a quick way in.
Have You Got a Gap?

One thing worth noticing.

Let's take your pulse, drawn from the Human Lenses of Transformation™. Read the observation, and notice whether it sounds like your transformation.

Nothing saved. Nothing scored. Just a moment to look.
